Korsvägen Station

Korsvägen Station

Customer: NCC
Project location: Göteborg

SwebekoGroup has been commissioned to build the station’s main structure of reinforced concrete.

A new commuter train tunnel under Gothenburg means that 100,000 residents and 130,000 workers will be within walking and cycling distance of commuter trains in central Gothenburg.
The station is named after the Korsvägen crossroads, which has been an important tram stop since the horse tramway in the 1880s and which has had five-way tram service since 2000.
The area is an important place in Gothenburg and in the future Korsvägen will have an even stronger significance locally, regionally and nationally.
