As part of the infrastructure works carried out in connection with the development of the Sickla area in Stockholm, SWEBEKO carried out reinforcement and concrete works within the Sickla Bridge project, which was carried out by Skanska. The project was part of a larger urban and traffic development with the aim of improving accessibility and coordination between car traffic, public transport, cyclists and pedestrians in one of the fastest growing parts of the Stockholm region.
SWEBEKO’s scope included concrete works related to the bridge structure and associated infrastructure elements. The works were carried out in an active urban environment with high demands on coordination, quality and safe execution. The project required well-organized production, careful planning and stable execution in line with the technical and operational requirements of major infrastructure contracts.
The Sickla Bridge project is a clear example of SWEBEKO’s ability to deliver qualified concrete work in complex infrastructure projects in demanding urban environments.
